Silai se Kamai Tak

Women taking part in the Silai se Kamai Tak tailoring training

The Foundation started a livelihood program to empower women from economically backward areas by imparting vocational training.

We opened a tailoring training center in the state of Assam, India where women are taught to stitch clothes to earn a livelihood. This has increased the self-confidence of women and contributed to gender equality.

~ 1300 poor women who have trained over the last 3 years at our center.
