On 17th September 2017, The Ladies’ Club of the Aligarh Muslim University and its charitable venture, Ismat Literacy and Handicraft Centre, organized a felicitation programme for Mr. Azhar Maqsusi from Hyderabad at the monthly meeting of the Club held at the New Guest House. Dr. Hamida Ahmad presided over the programme.

Social Heroes Award

Azhar was given the Social Heroes Award on 8th September 2018 at the Nehru Auditorium, Madina Education Center, Nampally, Hyderabad, in an award ceremony for volunteers and NGOs that had worked on Team Bakrid, Kerala Relief and Rohingya Relief activities that year.
