Who we are
Food with dignity, every single day
What began as daily meals at the Dabeerpura flyover in 2011* became Sani Welfare Foundation in October 2012*, and the work has continued every day since.
Who we serve
Anyone in need, with no questions about religion, gender, caste, or background. Many who come are family members waiting outside government hospitals, choosing between medicine and food.
How it works
Every afternoon, volunteers cook and serve fresh meals at strategic locations, usually outside hospitals. No registration required. Over 5,000 days of unbroken service and counting.
Our reach
1,000–1,500* meals daily at 8 centres* across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Raichur, Tandur, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Assam, and Jharkhand. Over 3 million meals* served since 2012.

VISION
Our vision is to eradicate hunger from society by making food available with dignity to every hungry person without discrimination.
MISSION
Our mission is to provide free meals to at least 10,000 people per day across 50 cities of India through a sustainable network of dedicated volunteers.

Syed Osman Azhar Maqsusi · Founder
Azhar Maqsusi started by feeding one hungry person under a bridge. Today, Sani Welfare Foundation serves thousands every day, with over 5,000 days of unbroken service, still funded largely from his own income and your kindness.
